Third-seeded Beatriz Haddad Maia from Brazil secured a place in the finals of the Korea Open in Seoul by defeating both of the Kudermetova sisters on Saturday. In the quarterfinals, Haddad Maia achieved an easy 6-2, 6-1 victory over Polina Kudermetova from Russia. She then continued her winning streak by triumphing over Veronika Kudermetova with a score of 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals. These matches took place on Saturday after a rainy day caused the previous schedule to be cancelled.

Veronika Kudermetova earned her spot in the semifinals by defeating Viktoriya Tomova from Bulgaria with a score of 7-5, 6-3 earlier in the day.
Also on Saturday, top-seeded Daria Kasatkina from Russia advanced to the final by defeating former U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu and fourth-seeded Diana Shnaider from her own country. Kasatkina dominated the first set with a score of 6-1 before Raducanu withdrew from the match due to a foot injury. In just 77 minutes, Kasatkina secured a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Shnaider.

Shnaider triumphed over Marta Kostyuk from Ukraine, the fifth-ranked player, with a score of 7-6 (7), 6-3, to secure a spot in the final against Kasatkina. The tournament’s finale will take place on Sunday, where Haddad Maia will be the opponent.
Thailand Open Laura Siegemund from Germany and Rebecca Sramkova from Slovakia both secured victories in straight sets, advancing to the final of the tournament held in Hua Hin. Siegemund showcased her skills with two aces and two double faults, ultimately winning 6-3, 6-3 against Arianne Hartono from the Netherlands.
