Ousmane Dembele scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain beat Toulouse 3-1 at the Parc des Princes to move four points clear at the top of Ligue 1, picking up a fifth win from their last six games across all competitions.
PSG boss Luis Enrique made several changes ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool, leaving Marquinhos, Vitinha and Nuno Mendes on the bench. Despite the rotation, the hosts took the lead when Dembele met Achraf Hakimi’s cross and fired a stunning first-time volley past goalkeeper Guillaume Restes.
Toulouse levelled just four minutes later, however, when Rasmus Nicolaisen headed in from a corner after PSG stopper Matvey Safonov badly misjudged the delivery.
Dembele restored PSG’s advantage before the break, tapping in at close range after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia flicked on a corner to make it his tenth Ligue 1 goal of the season. A disallowed goal denied him a hat-trick in the second half, before substitute Goncalo Ramos wrapped up the win in stoppage time with a composed right-footed finish.

Attention now turns to the Champions League, with Liverpool travelling to Paris on Wednesday. Toulouse, meanwhile, are running out of steam, having missed the chance to win three consecutive Ligue 1 matches for the first time since November 2024.
