Terence Formosa has confirmed his decision to step down from his roles at Sirens Football Club after eight years of dedicated service as coach and administrator.
In an emotional farewell message, Formosa cited personal reasons for his departure, describing it as a difficult but necessary decision. He spoke of Sirens FC as his hometown club, a place deeply tied to his roots and identity.
A strong advocate of youth development, Formosa said he is proud of the role he played in helping young players grow and chase their football ambitions. One of the standout moments of his time at the club was Sirens’ qualification for the Europa League and the historic away match in Bulgaria against CSKA Sofia.

When contacted by Malta Sport and asked whether he plans to take up a role with another club, Formosa was adamant that, for the time being, he will not be seeking involvement with any other team.

He closed by thanking the coaches, players, staff, committee members, and supporters, stating that Sirens FC will always hold a special place in his heart.
