Judd Trump beat Neil Robertson 10-4 to reach the final of the Tour Championship in Manchester, though he admitted he has been having trouble with his cue tip throughout the tournament.
Trump was in fine form during the afternoon session, storming into a 7-1 lead with breaks of 87, 94 and 113. He then finished the match off in the evening session.
It will be Trump’s first appearance in the Tour Championship final. He will play either world champion Zhao Xintong or John Higgins on Sunday, with the final starting at 1pm BST.
“I started well in the first three frames but it got a bit tricky after that, so I’m glad to get through,” Trump said. “I’ve been struggling with my cue tip all week, but somehow I’ve kept winning.”
Robertson, a two-time former winner of the event, pulled it back to 7-3 at one point, but Trump quickly put the match to bed with runs of 87 and 75 to go 9-3 up, before closing it out 10-4.

“Whoever I play in the final, it’s going to be a brilliant match,” said the 36-year-old.
The Tour Championship is the last big event before the World Championship kicks off in Sheffield on 18 April.
