Ousmane Dembélé has won the Men’s Ballon d’Or for the first time, while Aitana Bonmatí has been crowned Women’s Ballon d’Or winner for the third year in succession.
Dembélé, the 28-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward, capped a stunning season in which he helped his club achieve an historic quadruple. It was his first ever nomination for the prize and he became the latest PSG player to claim the most prestigious individual award in football.

Bonmatí, 27, continued her dominance of the women’s game by claiming the top honour once again. The Barcelona midfielder has now lifted the trophy three years in a row, finishing ahead of Mariona Caldentey in second and Alessia Russo in third.

Lamine Yamal also made history by becoming the first player to win the Kopa Trophy in consecutive years. The 18-year-old Spanish forward from Barcelona topped the under-21 rankings ahead of Désiré Doué and João Neves. Vicky López, a 19-year-old midfielder also with Barcelona, won the inaugural women’s Kopa Trophy.
The Johan Cruyff Trophies for best coaches went to Sarina Wiegman, who led England to glory at the European Championship, and Luis Enrique, who guided PSG to their quadruple.

The Yachine Trophy for best goalkeeper was awarded to Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG, who previously won the prize in 2021. Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton claimed the first place in the women’s category.
Arsenal’s Viktor Gyökeres won the Gerd Müller Award for best striker after scoring 54 goals with Sporting before joining the Premier League club, while Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor took the women’s version. Arsenal were named Women’s Club of the Year following their Champions League triumph, and PSG collected the men’s award after winning four major trophies.
The ceremony confirmed Dembélé’s rise to the summit of the men’s game and cemented Bonmatí’s place as one of the greatest players of her generation.
