Matthew Hudson-Smith has claimed his third European 400m title with an impressive performance in front of his home crowd at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
The British athlete produced a superb run at Alexander Stadium, crossing the line in 44.17 seconds to secure another European crown.
His victory adds to an exciting championships for the hosts, with Birmingham welcoming many of Europe’s leading athletes for six days of competition.
The championships continue until Sunday, with several major finals still to come.
