‘Investing in our youth is critical to ensure that we raise the bar and reach our long-term goals’, concluded Attard.

Cyprus had won the first edition of the Games in 2022 ending top of the list with 20 medals, 12 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze. Malta followed in second place with a total of 25 medals, 7 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze. The first edition had featured three sports, namely bowling, taekwondo and triathlon.
The Malta Invitational Games are being organised with support from SportMalta, the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, Badminton Malta, the Malta Taekwondo Association, National Lottery, APS Bank and General Soft Drinks.
