NO ONE IS UNTOUCHABLE: Jokic is one step away from history - the Serbian breaks Wilt Chamberlain's record, the only question is when! (VIDEO)

Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokic is one step away from breaking the record of the legendary Wilt Chamberlain.

Namely, in the victory over Golden State, Jokic recorded his 77th triple double in his career, and his first in the new season.

The guy from Sombor had 26 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists in 34 minutes on the court.

When looking strictly at centers in terms of triple-double performance, only Chamberlain is ahead of Jokic with 78, and there is no doubt that the two-time consecutive NBA MVP will soon overtake him.

Interestingly, in the history of the NBA, only five players have achieved 100 or more triple-double performances, and the list is headed by Russell Westbrook, followed by Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson, LeBron James and Jason Kidd.

If Jokic continues with the games he is currently providing, there is no doubt that he will soon join them.
