The MDA Summer League continued with a series of competitive matches that have begun to shape the standings in both Group A and Group B.
In Group A, Birgu Boċċi maintained their strong form with a comprehensive 6-0 victory over Top Gun. Zejtun Band Club also secured valuable points, defeating Hamrun Bayern 5-1. Meanwhile, Birgu Boċċi A and Zejtun Band Club both sit at the top of the group with six points each. Hamrun Bayern and Top Gun follow with three points apiece, while Tipsy Lounge remain without points so far.
Group B saw Floriana Ajax continue their impressive campaign, defeating Birgu B 5-1. PO’s Bar also claimed a 4-2 win against MMG, keeping them in contention at the top of the group. The current standings show Floriana Ajax and PO’s Bar leading with six points each, followed by Milda DT and Birgu B on three points, while MMG have yet to open their account.
The league remains competitive as teams prepare for the upcoming fixtures, with group leaders aiming to consolidate their positions ahead of the next rounds.
