ALCARAZ DID THE IMPOSSIBLE: The Spaniard equaled Novak's record from the historic year of 2011!

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz is playing at an incredible level this year. Out of a total of five titles in his career, four were won in 2022, and at the Masters in Montreal he managed to equal Novak Djokovic’s 11-year-old record!

Namely, in the second round of the tournament in Montreal, by winning the first set against Tommy Paul (7:6), Alcaraz became the first player since Djokovic to win at least a set in the first 50 matches of the year!

Novak achieved this feat in the historic year 2011, when he became the first tennis player in the world and won as many as 10 trophies (3 Grand Slams + Rome, Madrid, Belgrade, Miami, Indian Wells, Dubai).

On the other hand, the Spaniard has won tournaments in Madrid, Barcelona, Miami and Rio de Janeiro so far this year.

What do you think, can Alcaraz reach his first Grand Slam title at the US Open in a historic year for him?
