UEFA has appointed FIFA referee Ishmael Barbara to officiate the UEFA Youth League Domestic Path Third Round first leg between FK Crvena Zvezda of Serbia and MSK Žilina of Slovakia, marking another significant European assignment for the experienced Maltese match official.
Barbara will head a fully Maltese refereeing team on the field. He will be assisted by FIFA assistant referees James Muscat and Duncan Spencer, both of whom continue to feature regularly in international fixtures.
