Mazzotta finalises Malta Under 21 squad for Greece and Georgia qualifiers

Malta Under 21 head coach Davide Mazzotta has named his final 24-player squad for the upcoming UEFA European Under 21 Championship qualifiers against Greece and Georgia.

Malta will first face group leaders Greece on Friday, 27 March at the Municipal Stadium of Livadia, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 CET. The match will be broadcast live on TVMSport+.

Mazzotta’s side will then travel to Georgia for another away fixture on Tuesday, 31 March, with that match set to kick off at 16:00 CET at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Kutaisi. The game will be shown live on TVMSport.mt.

These two difficult away matches offer Malta another important opportunity to continue their development and test themselves against strong opposition in Group F.

The selected squad sees a mix of local based and overseas talent across all departments, with three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders and six forwards chosen for the double header.
