US OPEN: Alcaraz knocked out the Italian even without training

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open with a 3:0 (6:3, 6:3, 6:4) victory over Italian Matteo Arnaldi.

Alcaraz continues his way to defend his title in New York, and so far he has lost only one set. In the first set today, he made one break and it was enough for him to celebrate with 6:3. Then in the second, he managed to take away the rival’s service game twice, while the third set was a little more exciting.

The Italian managed to break, but Alcaraz immediately retaliated in kind and later broke once again for 6:4 and the final 3:0.

The Spaniard’s next opponent will be better than the duel between Italian Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev from Germany.
