Poland and the United States will face off in the United Cup final on Sunday after both teams secured dominant victories in their respective semi-finals.
Poland continued to assert their authority in the competition, sweeping Kazakhstan 3-0. Hubert Hurkacz set the tone with a commanding 6-3, 6-2 win over Alexander Shevchenko in the men’s singles. In the women’s singles, world number two Iga Swiatek demonstrated her class, defeating sixth-ranked Elena Rybakina 7-6, 6-4 in a closely contested match.
The Polish dominance extended to the mixed doubles, with Maja Chwalińska and Jan Zieliński comfortably overcoming Zhibek Kulambayeva and Shevchenko 6-4, 6-1 to seal their place in the final.

The United States also cruised to a 3-0 victory, defeating the Czech Republic in the other semi-final. Coco Gauff got the Americans off to a strong start, dispatching Karolina Muchova 6-1, 6-4 in the women’s singles.
In the men’s singles, Taylor Fritz was awarded victory after Tomas Machac retired with an injury in the final set. Machac had taken the first set 7-6 and was leading 5-4 in the second before a foot injury forced him to concede.
The American duo of Desirae Krawczyk and Denis Kudla completed the sweep in the mixed doubles, dominating Gabriela Knutson and Patrik Rikl 7-5, 6-0 to secure their spot in the final.
The stage is now set for an exciting showdown between Poland and the United States, with both teams looking to claim the United Cup title in what promises to be a thrilling contest.
