Annabel Croft, a tennis analyst, carefully analyzed the whole year and Novak Djokovic, and concluded that he was deprived of at least 10,000 points.
“It’s terrible what happened and how it affected Novak Djokovic. I think this whole thing is a complete mess. The fact that he could not play in the Australian Open is meaningless. With everything that happened and the situation surrounding the Russian players, I think there is a lot that needs to be cleared up. This is one of the most turbulent years we’ve had in tennis,” Croft began.
Although Novak is currently seventh in the world, Anabel points out that for her he is the best tennis player on the planet.
“I certainly feel that Novak is the best player in the world and I think we will see that in the next couple of weeks, at the Masters in Paris and the ATP Tour Finals. If you look at how he played at Wimbledon after everything that happened to him, he was flawless.”
He left the biggest impression on her at the Grand Slam in London.
“He was outstanding, the way he beat Nick Kyrgios in the final was impressive. Make no mistake, Kyrgios is very dangerous when he plays at his best. I think he played fantastic tennis at Wimbledon, but Novak found a way to neutralize him and win another Grand Slam title. It was so impressive,” concluded Annabel Croft
