Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal announced after the surgery he underwent on Friday.
We haven’t seen Nadal on the court since the Australian Open, and we expect his return before the end of this season.
“Hello everyone. As you all know, I had surgery last night. Everything went well and I finally solved the problem that has been bothering me since January. Artoscopy was done on my left hip and that should help.
I want to thank Marc Philippon, Jaume Vilaro and Angel Ruiz-Cotorro for their work.
I will start progressive functional rehabilitation immediately. If everything goes well, the recovery process should last five months.
I want to thank everyone once again for the support you have given me now and every day.
Today is also my birthday. I’m not spending it the way it’s dreamed of, but I thank you all in any case”, – concluded Rafael Nadal.
