MEDVEDEV HONESTLY: Nadal is my biggest fear

Danil Medvedev continued his great streak of victories at the Masters tournament in Indian Wells.

Novak Djokovic is not at this tournament, so the path to the title is easier for the Russian.

However, Daniil still points out that he would like to find a way to beat Rafael Nadal.

“I have never played against him on that surface, but it is certainly the biggest challenge in our sport. The man lost maybe ten matches in his career on clay. I don’t even know if it’s that much. My biggest fear is that we play on clay. Of course I would fight to win, but honestly I don’t think I would have many chances”, Daniil Medvedev was honest.

He mentioned Novak and Australia.

“I beat him a few times on hard court, but not in Australia. I lost there three or four more times and I don’t remember. I honestly don’t know why Melbourne is so special to Novak. He obviously has something that suits him,” concluded Medvedev.
