Iga Swiatek won her first-ever Wimbledon title after a brilliant performance in the women’s final, beating Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in just 58 minutes.
This was the first double bagel (two 6-0 sets) in a Wimbledon women’s final since 1911. Swiatek dominated the match on Centre Court, while Anisimova struggled in her first Grand Slam final, making 28 unforced errors.
It’s Swiatek’s first title since the 2024 French Open, and her sixth Grand Slam overall.

Speaking after the match, Swiatek said:
“This feels unreal. I want to congratulate Amanda, she had a great two weeks, no matter what happened today. I hope we’ll play many more matches in the future.
I didn’t even dream about this, it felt too far away. I’m really thankful to my team and my coach. They believed in me more than I believed in myself. We’ve proved that this works.”
