Iga Swiatek lifted the trophy in Indian Wells, easily defeating Sakkari

This year’s champion of the Masters’ tournament in Indian Wells is the Polish Iga Swiatek.

Iga was better than the Greek Maria Sakkari in the final, after 81 minutes spent on the field, which was enough for her to celebrate, with the result of 2:0 – 6:4, 6:1.

In the beginning, the first break was made by Maria, but Swiatek immediately retaliated, turned it around and easily took the lead od 1:0.

In the second set, she won even more easily, made two breaks, routinely celebrated, and then lifted the trophy.

As of today, Swiatek is the second tennis player in the world, and this is her second title this year, she won the first at the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha.
