Francesca Curmi’s run at the ITF W100 tournament in Lisbon came to an end in the Round of 16, as she was defeated 6-0, 6-4 by Latvia’s world No.104 Darja Semenistaja.
The match saw Curmi face a tough challenge from the outset. Semenistaja took control early, with Curmi struggling to convert key points during both her service and return games.
