Roger Federer will play his last career match with Rafael Nadal at the Laver Cup.
The Swiss will play together with Nadal against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe, and the match starts at 19:00 on Friday.
Federer has already announced that he would like to play the last match with Nadal, which has now come true, as confirmed.
-“It is clear that the best thing would be to play doubles here with Nadal because it was a really great rivalry.”- said Federer and added that he was a little nervous before the match.
Also, the legendary tennis player admitted why he decided to end his career after the Laver Cup.
-” The Laver Cup will be my last tournament. It feels good. I think it’s a wonderful place. I will have Björn Borg as my captain, you can imagine how much that means to me. It’s really special to do all this here in London, the city where I won two Final Masters and eight Wimbledons. This city and the fans have given me a lot, so I thought it was appropriate to end here.” – Roger concluded.
