Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa could miss the US Open after suffering yet another injury setback.
She revealed she’ll be out for a few weeks due to a torn muscle in her lower back, an issue that started before her loss to Katie Boulter at Wimbledon earlier this month.
Badosa, once ranked No. 2 in the world, has had repeated injury troubles and admitted it’s been a tough period. Still, she’s staying hopeful about recovering in time.
She’s also scheduled to compete in the new mixed doubles event at the US Open alongside Stefanos Tsitsipas, which begins a week before the main singles draw, between 24th August and 7th September.
