“Bull from Majorca” will be remembered as one of the best tennis players of all time, but his career is ending, or at least that’s what German Alexander Zverev claims. Zverev rarely talks with a hair on his tongue, and now he has also commented on Rafael Nadal’s condition.
Rafa counts even 22 Grand Slam titles, which has never been seen in the world of tennis (Djokovic has 21 and Federer has 20 each), and over 1,000 victories in his career.
However, Nadal has been plagued by injury problems in the last few years, so Zverev believes that the upcoming Roland Garros is the final tournament for the famous Spaniard.
“Rafael Nadal will announce his retirement at Roland Garros. I don’t wish that for him, but I think he will play a big tournament, maybe even win it and then say ‘Goodbye’ to tennis,” Zverev told Eurosport.
