Bormla subbuteo club reached the final of the Messina Grand Prix in a close final loosing to Barcelona 1-2 to reach the final Bormla won there respective group 1 as seeded no 3 in the World teams ranking as the only foreign team from other 13 Italian participant teams a 3-0 win vs Cosenza B and a 3-1 win vs Catania and a 1-2 loss to Messina saw them winning the group and directly to semi final were they met Reggio Calabria and won a 3-0 win and a passage to the final and a prestigious Silver medal and another milestone podium ….the Team was composed from Jason Pisani , George Ebejer , John Zammit, Josef Camilleri and Thomas Ebejer .
Saturday in the individual Thomas Ebejer was in a class of his own Winning the under 20 and Jason Pisani dominated the Veteran category in A 3-2 Final win vs Torano in extra time with John Zammit Reaching semi final and in the Open Category George Ebejer Reached a colossal semi final in Open loosing only to Winner Sciacca
