Team Malta made a confident debut at the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup in Markham, Canada, kicking off their campaign with impressive performances in the Solo Technical event on Day 1.
Representing Malta, Zea Montfort delivered a polished routine to earn a score of 194.0575, securing 15th place. Teammate Ana Culic followed closely behind, finishing 18th with a score of 186.5300. Both athletes demonstrated remarkable progress, improving their personal bests by over 15 points since their appearances at the Paris World Cup earlier this season.
These results mark a promising start for Malta, as the athletes continue to gain valuable experience and momentum on the international stage.
The action continues today as Malta competes in the Duet Technical event at 4:00 PM (Start No. 7), followed by the Solo Free event at 8:00 PM (Start No. 1 and No. 11).
