Tommy Wallbank and Josann Attard Pulis continued their strong form on Sunday as the Hudson Race Series powered by Nike moved to Dingli for another competitive edition of the 10k race.
The men’s 10k once again produced a familiar battle at the front, with Wallbank and Charlton Debono renewing the rivalry seen recently at Maqluba. Wallbank eventually took victory, with Debono finishing second and Aaron Mifsud completing the podium in third.
In the women’s 10k, Josann Attard Pulis claimed another impressive win, finishing ahead of Jolene Debattista, while Stephanie Caruana placed third.
The 5k race saw Mark Herrera take top honours in the men’s category, followed by Brandon Saliba and Alessandro Vizzini, who were separated by just two seconds in a tight contest for the remaining podium positions.
Charyl Fava also continued her winning streak in the women’s 5k, securing victory ahead of Claire Camilleri, with Martina Sammut Testa finishing third.
The organisers thanked Hudson for their continued long-term support, while also expressing appreciation to Transport Malta, Rabat Police, Dingli Local Council and Rabat Local Council for their assistance in the organisation of the event.
The fourth race of the Hudson Race Series powered by Nike will take place in Burmarrad on Sunday, 6 September. Registration is available online through the official race series website.
