Following three intense weeks of pool phase competition, the qualification of four teams for the Rugby World Cup 2027 has been confirmed. The Men’s Rugby Europe Championship will now progress to the semi-final and final stages of the tournament.
The semi-finals will feature an Eastern clash between Georgia and Romania, with the added significance of competing for the Antim Cup, as well as a match-up between Portugal and Spain. The victorious teams will then go head-to-head in the final for the title of Rugby Europe Championship.
The semi-finals will also be held in the Netherlands and Belgium, where they will face Germany and Switzerland respectively. All four teams are still in contention for the coveted 5th place in the competition, which will secure them a spot in the Final World Cup Qualification Tournament.
