The captain of the Serbian national football team, Dusan Tadic, made his comment before the decisive match for the round of 16 against Switzerland.
Dusan Tadic pointed out at the press conference that the pressure is great, but that the players of the Serbian national team should focus on football.
“There was a lot of pressure four years ago, we just need to focus on football. Whoever is better should go further. Every day we have pressure, we are used to it in the clubs”, said the captain of the Serbian national team.
The Ajax player added that the realistic result against Cameroon was 4:2 or 5:3 and admitted that the team was relieved when Brazil beat the Swiss.
“Of course that improved our impression because we have everything in our hands, it’s up to us. We need a win in the last round and we are satisfied with that,” Tadić said, noting that when it comes to his form, he can always do better.
The match between Switzerland and Serbia will be played on Friday at 20:00.
