Neymar: I cried all night, it's time to move on

The Brazilian football player, Neymar, returned to the field after an injury at the World Cup.

In Brazil’s 4:1 (4:0) victory over South Korea, Neymar was the scorer of the goal from the penalty spot in the 13th minute of the match.

That’s how the “canaries” made it to the quarterfinals and will play against Croatia.

“I was very scared when I got hurt. I was doing well, I had a good season. Suffering an injury as I did was not easy. I cried all night, my family knows that, but somehow everything worked out. It was worth staying until 11 in the morning with the physiotherapist for the treatment, and the following days until five or six in the morning. I hope that all these sufferings will pay off and that something beautiful will happen in the end”, says Nejmar.

“It is time to move on. We dream of the title, that’s obvious, but we have to go step by step. This was the fourth game, three more to go. Until that title,” says the Brazil forward.

The football player has achieved something that only Pele and Ronaldo have managed – to score at least one goal in three World Cups.

“It is difficult to talk about what Pele is going through, but I wish him the best, that he recovers quickly and that it will be easier for him because of our victory and that banner at the end that we dedicated to him. For me, what I did is a big thing, I’m proud of it. I managed something that I could only dream of. I am very happy,” Neymar concluded.
