Brazilian football player Neymar spoke after the injury he suffered against the Serbian national team in yesterday’s match in the first round of the World Cup in Qatar.
“Today was one of the hardest days in my career. It happened again at the World Cup. Yes, I was injured, but I am sure that I will still have the opportunity to play in this tournament and I think that I can help my teammates and myself,” said the Brazilian striker.
Neymar will miss the next match with Switzerland due to a wrist injury.
“When I put on the Brazil jersey, I feel only pride and love for the country. If God had given me the opportunity to choose the country of my birth, without a doubt I would have been born in Brazil. I didn’t get anything instantly, I went after my goals for a long time. “I never wished harm on anyone and I helped the weak,” said the Brazilian.
The match between Brazil and Switzerland will be played on Monday at 5 pm.
