The FIP Senior Euro Padel Cup in Valencia is ready to deliver its first verdicts. Today is the third and final day of the group stage, which will determine which teams qualify for the quarter-finals. In the women’s draw, there was a close match between Hungary and Ireland, with the Irish winning 3-2; in Group B, France-Portugal will be decisive. Five wins out of five in the second tie for Finland, Germany, Great Britain and Denmark over Norway, Ukraine, Austria and Lithuania.
In the men’s draw, the most evenly matched tie was in Group C, with Germany beating Switzerland 3-2. In the other groups, the Netherlands (A, 5-0 over Finland), Ukraine (B, 4-1 over Lithuania), Estonia (D, 4-1 over Poland), Great Britain (E, 4-1 over Czechia), Hungary (F, 4-1 over Ireland), Norway and Belgium (G, 5-0 over Croatia and 4-1 over Austria).
