European Aquatics is proud to reveal the nominees for the 2023 Athlete of the Year Awards, honouring our great Aquatic athletes for their spectacular achievements over the past year of competition.
The Awards will celebrate male and female competitors from Swimming, Diving, Artistic Swimming and Open Water.
For the very first time each category will feature five nominees, showcasing the depth of talent across Aquatics disciplines in Europe.
Nominees were chosen based on their performances during the 2023 season in European Aquatics. These shortlists were approved by the Technical Committee of each discipline.
The public vote will count for 30% of the total voting, with 70% weighting for the European Aquatics members and Technical Committee voting.
Aquatics fans are permitted to make one vote per category in each discipline.

Voting closes on March 3rd (11:59pm CET) with the winners set to be revealed between March 25th and 3rd April.
