Talkative, dynamic, unconventional – Kevin Holland is like nothing that has appeared on the MMA scene so far.
Kevin “Trail Blazer” Holland (22-1-7) is 29 years old, a fighter in the middle UFC category (up to 84 kg), and he is also known as “Long Tongue” – he often provokes opponents during fights.
Apart from unseen moves in the cage and controversial statements outside of it, he is on the front pages from time to time for some totally different reasons.
U.S. media reported on Tuesday that one person started shooting at a sushi restaurant in Houston on Monday night, but that due to the quick reaction of three guests of the restaurant, none of the fifty present were injured.
One of the men who disabled the shooter who opened fire was a UFC fighter – Kevin Holland!
The official record reports that the shooting happened around 11:30 in the evening, and that people jumped to the floor when they heard the shots. Fortunately, the quick reaction of the guests saved more lives.
This is not the first time that good neighbor Kevin Holland saved the day, because only a few months earlier, he helped the police arrest a thief who stole a car. He overpowered him and waited for the police to come and arrest him.
In the last fight, Kevin Holland fought in the “welterweight” category (up to 77 kg), where he defeated Alex Olivier by technical knockout in the second round.
