The 109th Tour de France has officially begun, which this year will be held in Denmark and not in France as expected.
The first stage is scheduled in Copenhagen, and the length of the race is 13.2 kilometers.
Then the second race continues from Roskilde to Nyborg, and its total length is 202.2 kilometers.
And the last stage is driven from Vejle to Sønderborg with a length of 182 kilometers.
On Monday, a transfer to France is scheduled, from where they will drive from Dunkirk to Calais from Tuesday, July 5, the length of the stage is 171.5 kilometers.
The race has six flat sections, seven hilly and six mountain stages, and will pass through 39 cities, nine of which will be for the first time.
The title is defended by Slovenian Tadej Pogačar, a member of the UAE Team Emirates, who is the favorite this season.
