Team Malta delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Dance World Cup in Dublin, Ireland, achieving top finishes against some of the world’s best young dancers.
The Dance World Cup is the world’s largest all-genre dance competition for children and young adults, attracting more than 11,500 dancers from over 60 countries.
One of Malta’s standout results came in the Acro Small Group category, where Dance Project Studios secured an excellent fifth-place finish with their routine, Beautiful Chaos. The performance was choreographed by Ms Sabrina Wingfield and Ms Celine Azzopardi.
Malta also claimed sixth place in the Mini Commercial Large Group category with a routine choreographed by Leanne Calleja.

In addition to these achievements, more than 20 Maltese performances finished among the top 20 in their respective categories across a variety of dance styles, including Acro, Commercial, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical.
The impressive results came in group, solo, duo and trio events, with the Acro Large Group recording one of the team’s highest scores of the competition with 89.7 points.

Team Malta’s performances once again highlighted the high standard of dance talent on the islands, with the dancers producing several outstanding results at one of the biggest dance competitions in the world.
