In an exhilarating week of high-intensity taekwondo training, three rising stars from Dragon Taekwondo – Nathan Degiorgio, Luke Chircop, and Samuel Vella – honed their skills under the watchful eye of their dedicated coach, Mauro Busuttil. The prestigious camp, held in the serene setting of Vranjačka Banja, Serbia, from August 13th to 20th, was a crucible of talent and determination.

Orchestrated by Serbian Olympic coach Dragan Jovic and his elite team from Taekwondo Club Galeb, the camp was a melting pot of international expertise. The coaching roster boasted world-class talent, including Iranian maestros Seyed Kalife and Reza Imanzade, whose guidance proved invaluable to the eager participants.
The camp’s rigorous schedule featured twice-daily training sessions, pushing athletes to their limits across all facets of taekwondo. Here, Dragon’s athletes showcased their mettle, facing off against four different opponents in a true test of their skills and strategy. The camp’s diverse structure, catering to cadets, juniors, and seniors alike, drew over 500 athletes worldwide, creating an electrifying atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.
This immersive experience wasn’t just about individual growth; it was an investment in the future of Dragon Taekwondo. The wealth of knowledge and fresh perspectives gained are set to revolutionize local training sessions, elevating the entire club’s performance.
