The Final of the Bavaria Championship for Gold category horses was officially launched. This marks the third edition of this championship, organised by the Malta Racing Club, and it will culminate with the eagerly awaited final on Sunday, 27th April.
The press conference was addressed by Mr Stephen Bonnici, Deputy General Manager of General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd., who expressed his pride that for the third consecutive year, the company is supporting this championship through their brand, Bavaria. Mr Bonnici stated it is an honour for them to back a sport that is deeply embedded in Maltese culture.

Speaking on behalf of the Malta Racing Club, Vice Chairman Mr Tony Demanuele highlighted that, as always, this race promises top-tier excitement and competition. He noted that both the qualifying rounds and the semi-finals showcased high-calibre performances and competitive timings, setting the stage for a thrilling final.
Dr Matthew Brincat, CEO of Malta Equidrome, extended his best wishes to all participants and thanked Mr Bonnici for his continued support. He also expressed hope that this collaboration will endure for many years to come. Similarly, Mr Max Zammit, CEO of EquestriMalta, also conveyed his good wishes to the finalists and remarked that this championship continues to offer thrilling racing action in this first part of the season.
To conclude the event, the draw for the final starting positions was held, revealing each horse’s number behind the autostart.
