Local hockey champions Qormi Daikin will travel to the Slovenian city of Predanovci to compete in the Euro Hockey Challenge I tournament, which will take place between Friday, May 22 and Monday, May 25.
Qormi have been drawn in Pool A alongside hosts HK Triglav Predanovci and Ukraine’s HC Olimpia Vinnitsa.

The side, coached by Andre Ghio, will begin its campaign on Saturday at 5.45pm against Olimpia Vinnitsa before facing HK Triglav Predanovci the following day at 4.45pm.
The Qormi side will then proceed to classification matches depending on their final position in the group standings.
Qormi, who were recently named Euro Hockey Small Club of the Year 2025, enjoyed a memorable campaign last season when they defeated Slovenia’s HK Lipovci 3–2 in the final following a penalty shoot-out. Their triumph came after a consistently strong tournament from start to finish.
The club also arrives in Slovenia fresh from another dominant domestic season, having won every competition organised by the Malta Hockey Association.
