Qormi Daikin and Floriana Young Stars will face each other in the Knock-Out final after both won their semi-final matches over the weekend.
Qormi Daikin had to work hard to beat GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks 6–4. Żurrieq were leading 1–0 after the first quarter, but Qormi came back strongly in the second quarter to take control of the match. Żurrieq stayed competitive and kept the game close until the end.
Qormi’s goals were scored by Juan Sarcia, Kyle Micallef, Nathan Pace Gasan, Justin Zahra, Tommy Kok and Shawn Dimech. For Żurrieq, Christ Agius scored three goals, while Alessandro Amore also found the net.
In the other semi-final, Floriana Young Stars were very strong and beat White Hart 5–0. Mark Camilleri scored three goals, while Joe Ellul Turner, Anton Saliba and Andrea Curmi also found the net.
The final will be played on Saturday 16 May at the Kordin Hockey Complex.
In the Under-12 match, GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks beat Floriana Young Stars 5–2. Żurrieq were in control for most of the game, although Floriana tried to fight back. Adam White scored three goals, while Thomas White and Jacob White also scored. Giuseppe Schembri and Craig Camilleri scored for Floriana.
