GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks will participate in the EuroHockey Club Challenge II Men 2026, which will take place in the Polish city of Toruń between May 21 and 24.

The Maltese side has been drawn in Group B, where they will face Soroksari HC of Hungary, HC Šiauliai of Lithuania, and Grammarians HC from Gibraltar. Based on the group-stage results, the Wolves will then play against a team from Group A to determine the final standings. Group A features Swansea HC (Wales), Valhalla Landhockey Club (Sweden), KS Pomorzanin Toruń (Poland), and Eagles HC from Gibraltar.
Although the competition presents a significant challenge, the Żurrieq side, led by Argentine coach Silvio Peralta, is looking forward with optimism and aiming to deliver positive performances throughout the tournament.
During a club event held at the Żurrieq Wolves ASC facilities, club president Dr Andrei Imbroll stated that the club had done everything possible to prepare for the trip and expressed confidence that the players would rise to the occasion and make the most of this opportunity.
During the presentation of the team’s official tournament kits, Dr Imbroll also thanked all sponsors for their support in making the club’s participation in Poland possible.
