The case involved Deshaun Watson, a quarterback from Houston, against whom as many as nine criminal charges for sexual harassment were filed, but the court still ruled in his favor.
Nine people testified before a grand jury on Friday, and a total of 23 people accused him of sexual harassment.
The decision was made in favor of Deshaun due to a lack of valid evidence.
“I thank everyone who was a part of this for seeing and hearing both sides. That’s what we wanted from the beginning: to have a fair trial and let each of us present our side of the story so that we could let the court make a decision, which is what happened today,” Watson said.
