The Malta Boxing Federation crowned its 2026 National Champions following two days of competition held on 26 and 27 September.
The championships brought together amateur boxers from clubs across Malta, with athletes competing for national titles in different age and weight categories.
This year’s championships were particularly significant as they were the first National Championships organised during a new chapter for the Malta Boxing Federation following its affiliation with World Boxing, AIMS Malta and the Maltese Olympic Committee.
The federation said the weekend represented an important step in the development of amateur boxing in Malta, bringing clubs, athletes, coaches and officials together with the aim of raising the standard of the sport and creating more opportunities for the next generation.
