Francesco Bagnaia wins at Mugello

After an outstanding performance on Saturday, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) achieved a resounding victory at Mugello, marking the culmination of a flawless weekend. The number one rider capitalized on every opportunity available, earning a total of 37 points. Right from the start, Bagnaia swiftly advanced from fifth to first position by the second turn. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) attempted to match Bagnaia’s impressive pace throughout the race, but was ultimately overtaken by Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) on the final lap, dropping him to third place.

With Martin securing a spot on the podium, his lead in the Championship was reduced to 18 points as the race concluded in Italy. Not far behind Bagnaia at the finish line was Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™), who narrowly missed out on a podium finish after starting in third place.
