The 2025 Men’s and Women’s U16 and U18 European Water Polo Championships have been announced by European Aquatics, along with the official dates and host cities. These prestigious competitions, which showcase the young talent in the sport, will take place across Europe. The dates and venues for the 2025 EWPC Age-Group Championships are as follows:

– U18 Men’s Division Elite European Water Polo Championship

For the first time, the Championships will be split into two divisions – Division Elite and Division I – for each age category. This eliminates the need for prior qualification tournaments. The top 16 teams from previous EWPC results will compete in Division Elite, while the remaining teams will participate in Division I. There will be a special focus on promoting the development of women’s water polo by expanding Division Elite to include up to 20 teams in the U16 and U18 categories. Eligibility and seeding for each division will be determined by the results of the last age-group EWPC, with new or unranked teams placed based on the European Aquatics National Team Rankings.
