The Maltese Veterans continued their impressive form with a resounding 11-1 victory over Dutch side Schilwolde VV SGV in an international friendly match played at the Charles Abela Stadium.

Displaying complete dominance from the outset, the Maltese team took control of the game and built a commanding 5-1 lead by half-time.
Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza stole the spotlight with a remarkable five-goal haul, showcasing his clinical finishing skills. Ian Zammit also made a significant contribution, scoring a hat-trick, while Andre Scicluna, Steven Bonnici, and Daniel Cremona each added a goal to the impressive tally.

Schilwolde, a team based near the Dutch city of Groningen, managed to score a consolation goal through Nick Gankema but struggled to cope with Malta’s relentless attacking play.
The match was officiated by referee Gordon Barbara.
Looking ahead, the Maltese Veterans will face their next challenge on the 15th of February when they take on TSOF 2012 Athens in another international fixture.
This latest victory serves as a strong statement of intent from the Maltese squad as they continue their preparations for future competitions.
