The Malta Veterans were in top form yesterday as they cruised to a dominant 7-0 victory over Internacional de Cartagena to lift the Veterans Cup 2025.
After going two goals up in the first half, the Maltese side took full control in the second, adding five more goals to wrap up a convincing win.
Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza stole the spotlight with a brilliant hat-trick, while Ian Zammit added two well-taken goals. Kevin Sammut and Manolito Micallef also got on the scoresheet to round off a memorable performance.
The match was officiated by referee Trustin Farrugia Cann.
