This weekend in Ludwisburg Germany the Fistf Grand Prix took place on Saturday. In the categories section, it was Bessim Golger of Bormla Subbuteo club who won the Open Category when he won 3-2 against Theo Modeste to reach the final Golger won in the semi final against Bisio 5-1 and in the quarters won over Cuencia 2-1, in this category Josef Camilleri reached the last 16.
In the Veterans Category David Busch reached the semi finals where he lost in extra time to the winner Quatrini 0-1, Jason Pisani and John Zammit reached the Quarters of Final where they lost against Busch and Quatrini respectively.
On Sunday Bormla sc reached the semi final teams when in the Group stage they won two out of three games 4-0 Hopfeinfeim 4-0 Wamme and lost 1-2 to the winner Issy les Moulineux to beat Bologna 3-0 in the barrage and in the semi Final they lost against Salernitana 0-2.
The team was composed of Jason Pisani, George Ebejer the Belgian Bessim Golger, the Austrian David Busch John Zammit George Ebejer and Josef Camilleri Bormla sc finished the 2023-2024 season in first place in the Fistf team ranking, this tournament was financed by Sportmalta’s International Participation scheme.
