Valletta United have appointed Marko Orlovic as their new head coach, with Joe Cremona becoming sporting director after five years leading the team.
Orlovic, a former professional player, brings international coaching experience and knowledge of Maltese waterpolo, having previously taken charge of San Ġiljan, Sirens and Birżebbuġa. Otis Zammit will serve as his assistant coach.
His coaching career includes multiple league and cup titles, alongside work in player development. During his time with VK Vojvodina and Serbia’s youth national teams, he helped develop players including Miloš Ćuk and Boris Vapenski in their early years.
Announcing his appointment, Valletta United said Orlovic arrives with a clear vision and the ambition to help develop the club.

The changes see Cremona move into a broader leadership role after five years as head coach.
As sporting director, he will focus on team management, improving the club’s facilities, and long-term development, with responsibilities both on and off the pitch.
Valletta United said Cremona would bring the same commitment and ambition to his new position that characterised his time as head coach.
Orlovic and Zammit will now lead the coaching team, while Cremona will oversee the club’s wider sporting development.
