The Malta Waterpolo Referees Association (MWRA) is thrilled to announce that two of its distinguished international referees, Neville Mercieca and Stefan Licari, have been appointed to officiate at the upcoming European Championship U19 tournaments.
Neville Mercieca will be officiating the women’s games in Zagreb, Croatia from 24-31 August, while Stefan Licari will oversee the men’s games in Burgas, Bulgaria from 1-7 September. Both referees have expressed their excitement and eagerness to participate in these prestigious tournaments. This selection not only reflects their personal achievements, but also highlights the exceptional standards of officiating within the MWRA.
