Neptunes ASC U16 have been crowned BOV Water Polo U16 Winter League champions after a strong win over their rivals Sliema ASC U16 in the final.
Neptunes produced a confident and controlled performance, winning the match 12–5 to secure the title. They finished the season unbeaten, showing consistency and strong form throughout the competition.
Although the score suggests a comfortable win, the match was competitive, with both teams playing at a high level. It was an exciting final that highlighted the quality of young water polo talent in Malta.
At the award ceremony, the trophy was presented to the Neptunes captain by Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta, together with Karl Izzo, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta.
This season’s U16 league once again showed the strength of youth development in Maltese water polo, with players displaying good skill, discipline, and sportsmanship.
